Juan Puente

Juan Carlos Puente spent much of his high school years contemplating his future. Although he had always been creative, he struggled to find his niche.

Initially interested in graphic design, Juan became increasingly drawn to writing, particularly journalism, during his time at Texas A&M International University. In his junior year of college, he joined The Bridge Student Newspaper. With the support of his mentor, Thomas R. Brown, he was able to sharpen his skills in the field of journalism.

While serving as the Editor-in-Chief of the student newspaper, Juan was hired by KGNS, where he currently provides information to the City of Laredo as a Digital Content Producer.

In his free time, Juan enjoys exercising, writing and producing music and building miniature figures.
